We are not expecting gifts at our wedding, as we already have everything we need! However, if you would like to gift us with anything more than your presence, we have added a few items to our registry as well as a Honeymoon Fund. We appreciate anyone who even considers providing a wedding gift!

Bride and groom need a final headcount for the venue as soon as possible. The earlier the better! The official deadline to RSVP is set for July 19th. Please keep in mind that the bride and groom are paying for food and drinks based on headcount. If you have a last minute reason for not being able to make it, please let us know so we can find someone to fill your place!

Guests can bring a plus one as long as they are approved by bride and groom for head counting purposes.

Yes! There will be children in/at our wedding. However, if you have small children, you will need to let the bride and groom know ahead of time due to plating options at the reception. If any child causes a disruption during the ceremony, you will be asked by staff to step away from ceremony site so that all guests can fully enjoy the wedding. Please be aware that alcohol will be served at the reception as well. If this is something you're not comfortable with your children being around please refrain from bringing them. Thank you!

The ceremony will promptly begin at 5:30 pm. Please plan to arrive between 4:30 pm-5:10 pm. Due to Lake Lure being drained for debris removal unexpectedly, our ceremony was moved to an alternative site two minutes into Rumbling Bald's golf course. Party buses will be providing transportation to guests from the front parking area and through the venue's security gates. Those with impaired mobility will be allowed to drive directly to ceremony site. Bride & groom will just need to know ahead of time so that your name(s) can be provided to security staff at the gate.

During the ceremony, the first couple of rows will be reserved for immediate family members. Other than those rows, there is open seating at the ceremony. Our motto will be "choose a seat, not a side." At the reception, we will have reserved tables for the bride and groom, immediate family members, and the wedding party. All other guests can sit wherever they would like.

We will have an unplugged ceremony, meaning that the only people allowed to take photos or videos will be our photographer and videographer. We ask that all guests turn off their cellphones prior to the ceremony starting to ensure there are no disruptions. However, please feel free to take pictures before or after the ceremony!

We will have an open bar providing wine, beer, and liquor AFTER the ceremony. The bride and groom have paid in advance for a certain amount. Once this amount has been hit, guests will be responsible for covering additional purchases of alcohol.

The reception will technically go until 10:00 pm. However, we want to warn all family members that the dance floor officially opens at 8:30 pm. If you would like to refrain from seeing the wedding party and other guests get loose, we will take absolutely no offense if you decide to leave early. If you do decide to stay, please have fun and enjoy yourself!
